• The Apostille process was introduced in the Hague convention to make process documents Attestation easier, however getting Attestation from MEA involves so many consular activities and thus is more complex and reliable as compared to Apostille Attestation. 
• Apostille is only acceptable within the member countries of hague convention whereas attestation can be considered anywhere across the world. For Instance, Apostille is not acceptable for countries like Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt as these countries haven’t signed the Hague Convention yet and thus requires a complete attestation process. 
• Apostilling a document will be valid for a certain time period and can’t be used again while migrating to some other country. On other hand, Obtaining Embassy Attestation on a document is considered to be valid for life long and can be used multiple times to visit the same related country.
